Obituary of Angela L. Piraino

Angela Piraino, 60, of Staten Island, NY passed away February 23, 2023. She was a loving mother to her son James and she was so happy to welcome the daughter she never had into her family this past summer when James and Morgan got married. Angela was born in Brooklyn but moved to Staten Island with her parents at a young age. Angela was an incredible cook and loved to host parties. Angela was always the life of the party with her signature dance moves and incorrect song lyrics. Angela will always be remembered in many wonderful ways. Above all, she will be remembered as being an incredible mother. She always put others first and herself last. Angela had a huge personality and an even bigger heart. There was a lot of commotion on her block but she remained the President. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, 2/27, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pity R.C. Church at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Ocean View Cemetery. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Sunday, 2/26, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
