Obituary of Vincenzo "Enzo" Prestia

Vincenzo "Enzo" Prestia, 83, of Todt Hill, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Domenica (nee Licata) for 59 years; loving father of Vivian Prestia (Jennifer Albrizio), Jennifer Prestia, Patricia Ann Prestia (Amanda Anderson). Mr. Prestia was born and raised in Sicily, Italy, and emigrated to the United States in 1964, settling in Brooklyn before later relocating to Staten Island. For many years he was employed as a mechanic with the United States Post Office. He was an amazing mechanic and loved working on cars and motorcycles. Enzo also enjoyed playing cards with his friends. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Tuesday, departing at 9:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rita's R.C. Church at 10:00 am. Interment to follow in Moravian Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. If you so wish, you may make a donation in Enzo's memory to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
