Obituary of Lenora Davis

Lenora "Lynne" Davis, was born on December 19,1955, in Washington Heights, New York. She was the daughter to Henry Davis and Bernice Ruchman. She was a beloved mother to her children Idella and Tamara, and an amazing mother-in-law to Tamara’s husband Nelson, she had unique and special bonds with each of them. She was a cherished grandmother to 4 beautiful and hilarious grandchildren. Her grandchildren Khaleel, Ta-Shine, Kemauri, and Jayla will always remember Grandma/Ablah as a generous and thoughtful woman. Lenora graduated high school and went full steam ahead into a career she much loved and was loved in. She worked running a temp agency, from interviewing, training, placements, and computer word processing. She was an instrumental part of a multinational technology company creating their software and brands producing commercials. She went on to making newspaper headlines for being the top earning woman in her field. She was an amazing cook, who passed down her recipes to her family. Though she loved cooking for her family, she much enjoyed sweets to go along with a mystery show. She spent time traveling to any place that was hot, as she enjoyed basking in the sun, gambling, trying new restaurants, and chocolate martinis. Lenora lived a full life. She brought so much to those who were fortunate enough to have met her. Her smile, her generosity, and her determination will forever be missed. Mommy, we love you!
