Deepest sympathies to the entire family. He was a true gentleman and a kind soul. Remember when I came down from Montreal with friends in 2001. Gave us a place to stay and treated us to breakfast the next day in a cozy diner. To this day the best breakfast I've ever had. You will be missed Ottavio.

I first met Ottavio many years ago, I was probably 10 years old at the time. Ottavio along with his brothers and late father, came to Leamington, Ontario. This was in the late 70's, Ottavio, together with his brothers Leonello and Savino came from New York driving his Lincoln Continental looking to find and visit with my father - Sebastiano Savo with whom they had not seen for many years - since their time together in Italy. it was an exciting time for my father and for the rest of our family. I will be forever grateful to them, never knowing or having met anyone from my father's side of the family before. I realized at a very young age that there are many terrific men in the Savo clan just like my father, and like - Ottavio Savo. May he rest in peace.. My deepest heartfelt condolences to Lily and family. Sincerely, Teresa, Julia and Giovanni Savo

Words cannot describe the great loss we are experiencing . I will always cherish our fond memories growing up in Torrice . Ottavio was like a big brother to me . I would follow him around in our fields whether it was gathering feed for the cattle or just simply sitting under a shade tree telling jokes . He was kind , honest and a loving person , he will be missed by all . Lily & family our condolences , we are verrrry sorry for your loss , may God give you his loving care .
