Obituary of Ruth Condon

Beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ruth Condon, Age 93, of Bay Ridge Brooklyn passed away peacefully on June 14, 2023 in Staten Island. Ruth was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 29, 1930 to Stella and Douglas Fewer. Ruth worked for many years in the hospitality industry and enjoyed playing cards, sunbathing and spending time with her family. Ruth is survived by her children Elizabeth Waldron, Richard Condon (Liz), Patricia Teixeira and Kathleen Swing, grandchildren Gerard, Kenneth, Kim, Richard (Jennifer), Lisa (Armando), Tina (Chris), Denise (Sean), Pete and Sean, great grandchildren, Griffin, Nolan, Grace, Kateri, Ricky, Emma, Jesse, Erin, Thomas, Ava, Declan, Delaney, Devin, Donovan, Audrina, Stella, Jack, and was predeceased[a][b] by her son Michael Condon, Richard Condon Sr.(Rip) and her loving partner Hyman Elias. Ruth will be remembered for the love and devotion she showed to her family. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. Memorial services will be held at Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, on Monday June 19, 2023 from 3-7 p.m.
