Obituary of Vincenza Frisina

Vincenza Frisina (nee D'Achille), passed away suddenly on June 24, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Patrick Frisina for 52 years; loving mother of Kimberly Frisina, Jennifer Gumpel and her husband Brian; cherished grandmother of Reagan and Wyatt; dear sister of MaryAnn Barrucco (late Edward); fond sister-in-law of Joan Frisina (late Joseph) and Francine Frisina (Nicholas). She was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was the beloved pet mom of her dog Romeo. Mrs. Frisina was born and raised in Brooklyn and graduated from Lafayette High School. Vincenza was a proud homemaker for her family. Vincenza loved her trips to Atlantic City and playing her daily scratch-off lottery tickets. She was an excellent cook and was famous in her family for her baked ziti and potato pie on the holidays. Vincenza is also remembered for her impossible coconut pie. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pity R.C. Church at 10:30 am. Interment to follow in Ocean View Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
