Obituary of Eric J. Stein

Eric J. Stein, 66, passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2023. He is the beloved husband of Kathy to whom he married 3 times just because he loved her so much. He is the adoring father of Allie and Mikey, who were his pride, joy, and purpose in everything he did. He is the brother in law to Michael, and son in law to Marie and Norman. Eric was born in Brookyln on September 4, 1957 and was raised in Bayonne, New Jersey with his parents Frances and Norman, and sisters Sue and Marilyn. Growing up, Eric enjoyed photography and playing basketball and would later go on to love performing on stage in community theatre, where he met his wife Kathy. Kathy and Eric had their daughter Allie in 1998, were married in 1999, and had their son Michael in 2001. Eric’s sole purpose in his life was his family. Whether it was a trip to Disney or Aruba, overcrowded houses during the holiday’s, or late nights in the theatre, Eric wanted to be where his family was. There wasn’t a room he couldn’t bring to laughter, or tears, with his quiet jokes or wise words.
