Obituary of William D. Festo

Type Obit Here William “Billy” Festo, 64 of Eltingville, passed away on October 6th, 2023. He was the beloved husband of late Colleen Festo (2012), loving father of Marie-Elena Festo; the proud “Pop Pop” of Colette Angeline Rodelli, and beloved brother to Michael Festo. Billy was born in Brooklyn and moved to Staten Island in 2012, settling in Eltingville. He was a graduate of Lincoln High school and became a union truck driver for The NY Times and NY Post in his adulthood. Billy cherished his time with his family, even being labeled the “family man.” If coco-cola and Chinese food were near, Billy wasn’t too far behind. His daughter, grand-daughter, nieces and nephews brought Billy so much joy. He was a loyal and hardworking man. Billy was a tough guy with a kind heart. He feared nothing. His memory and legacy will be carried on through his beautiful family. Visitation at Matthew Funeral Home on Wednesday October 11th, 2023 from 4:00 to 9:00 pm. A Funeral service will be conducted at Holy Child Catholic Church on Thursday October 12th, 2023 at 11:00am.
