Obituary of Joan O. Eadicicco

Joan O. Eadicicco (Bartow), 91, Native Staten Islander. Passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023. She was a loving mother to Lori Mantovi (Joe), John, Judy Zdanowicz (Edward), Edward, Douglas (Patricia), Beth Salter (John), and Salvatore (Beth). Doting Nanny to 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A homemaker for many years, she went to work when her children were older, mostly in retail. One summer, she put her talents to use as a costume designer for the L.B.I. Playhouse. For a few years, she had a daycare in Fort Wadsworth. It was her favorite profession of all. She was a nurturing person who cared for many over the years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30am, with interment to follow at Moravian Cemetery.
