Obituary of Louise M. Chironna

West Brighton native Louise M. Chironna, 96 of Westerleigh, passed away peacefully at home on November 29, 2023. Born Louise M. Mafaro, Mrs. Chironna lived in Westerleigh for 75 Years. After graduating from McKee High School, she worked as a bookkeeper for Weissglass Dairy in Mariners Harbor for 8 years and Wagner’s Garage in Concord for 51 years. She was a member of Club 18, a neighborhood social club, the North Shore AARP Chapter, volunteered at the Historic Richmond Town County Fair. She loved reading, music, especially opera (Mario Lanza, her favorite) and playing her keyboard. Her most important pastime was spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter Terri and her son-in-law Robert, brothers John and Philip. She is predeceased by her son Louis who died at the age of 4 in 1959 and her husband of 68 years, Louis. She is also predeceased by her parents, Vincenzo and Angelina Mafaro, her siblings, Theresa (Tessie), Angelo, (Charles), Vincent (Jimmy) and Marie.
