Obituary of Lucette Gault

Lucette Gault (nee Maury), age 91, passed away on 12/6/2023 at Eger Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles D. Gault (Chuck), loving mother of the late Giselle McGee. Lucette is survived by her devoted son-in-law, Stephen McGee and her granddaughters, Samantha and Sabrina Del Zoppo. Lucette was born in Toulouse, France. When she was 18 years old she moved to Staten Island, specifically residing in Eltingville, Great Kills, Oakwood, and Westerleigh. Throughout her life she worked at the Riveria Chateau as a waitress and later worked at Capelli's and Carmel Richmond Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Lucette volunteered in the St. Patrick's Church Rectory. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, animal documentaries and traveling back to France. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, 12/13/2023, in St. Patrick's R.C. Church at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Moravian Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, 12/12/2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
