Two inspirational people,Hiram and Barbara. I always marveled at the strength of their character and their love for each other.Hiram always worked hard,from his garden to his handyman abilities.Barbara was the background of the family and was a woman of great character and integrity.They taught the Brooks clan about hard work,love and great character.They gave me Jeannine as a human gift who gave me love and respect quietly,never looking for gratitude.I adored listening to anecdotes and tales of moving out of Brooklyn and staking out their piece of Staten Island.Their grandson Dari worked in my Summer Camp and was a young man of great character.I’m so,so sorry Jeannine.You had a terrible year losing your sister,Dad and Mom.They were your strength but they raised a strong daughter to be able to move on.I love you Jeannine and it really hurt to hear what you had to deal with this year.If you ever feel like talking, I am here for you.Be good to yourself and kind to others.
