Obituary

Willie Peterkin, 59, transitioned into the Holy Kingdom of God on April 12th, 2018. He took his first earthly breath on April 10th, 1959 in Brooklyn, New York. As life continued he met and married his forever love, Sherina Peterkin. Soon after, their family expanded and they settled in Staten Island, New York in the summer of 1996.

Willie developed a relationship with God and the Christian faith very early on in life. His faith continued to grow with each passing day. He has encountered many and established friendships through shared beliefs, but also taught and mentored youth or anyone seeking and receptive of guidance.

Willie was predeceased by Wilburt Peterkin Sr., Darren Peterkin and Gregory Peterkin.

Remaining present on their first stage of life are his wife of 30 years, Sherina Peterkin; children, Jaleesa Peterkin, Janel Peterkin, Jordan Peterkin, Janay Peterkin, Justin Peterkin; grand-dog, Honey Blossom; Mother Shirley Peterkin; siblings, Renee Peterkin, Karen Simpson, Ronald Peterkin, Larry Peterkin and a host of relatives and friends.
