Dear Lisa and Tara,
I am so saddened to hear of Andrew's passing. Sending hugs to you and Tara.
He called himself Andy but he was always Andrew to Bob and I. From the time we met him until my last conversation with him, he was Andrew. I remember him making trips with Bob on the truck as his helper back in the 70's. Then when you moved to our neighborhood, he would always stop to say hello as he passed by the house.
He will truly be missed by those who knew him.

While we are so saddened to hear about Andy’s passing, we look back and reflect on our memories shared with Andy and it brings a smile to our faces and love in our hearts. Frank and I were reminiscing about all the fun and times we spent with both our families. The parties, the midnight swimming, Chinese restaurant night of partying, and my favorite was the wedding we crashed, as Andy once said we will be in their wedding pictures with the bride and groom, and they will still be wondering which side of the family we were from. Frank has great memories working with Andy; this is how we all came to meet almost 40 years ago. We are thankful for his friendship and big heart. We will never forget all the help he gave us when we rebuilt our home. He was the type of person who always made you laugh and give a helping hand. Our deepest sympathies to Lisa, Tara, and the rest of all who loved him. Heaven is a better place now. Rest easy friend. Love you! Let us all remember his life! Love Frank, Stacey and family.

Andy was one of my favorite human beings. He had an awesome sense of humor and was a kind man! We were always trading jokes with each other. He taught me the (ahem) "correct" way to sing Happy Birthday, the Brooklyn way! (i.e. "Habby Berday to choo.") smile His collection of WWII memorabilia was awesome and he knew so much about history. He will be missed by so many people. One of my favorite quotes regarding death is: "We come from the Earth and we return to the Earth. And in between we garden." I think Andy is leaving behind a beautiful garden! Have an interesting journey my dear friend/brother and we'll be together on the other side at some point. love, Cousin Richie

Uncle Andy,
He was one of the greats, someone you are lucky to have in your life. My uncle taught me so many things about life, cars, and war history even though sometimes I would zone out and say, “Wow that’s crazy!” The most important thing my uncle taught me is to live life laughing; through the hardest times and happiest he always found a way to make a joke. When I was younger I bought my uncle a tie for Christmas with reindeer’s and Santa sitting in a hot tub and he loved it. Every Christmas he wore that tie and it always made me so happy to see how much he loved it! He was one of my favorite people in my life, a true inspiration to me in so many different ways. I promise to always laugh through the hard times and appreciate the good. I love you so much Uncle Andy and miss you! ❤️
Love,
Kat

Andrew 40+ years ago you came into my life. You were just what i needed, a big brother. Through the years you taught me so many things. You were a wonderful son, husband, father, son in law, uncle and brother to me and Isabel. We laughed and cried together, Fortunately we had more laughs than tears. I have more great memories with you than I can list. I will never forget them. Andrew I could never fill your shoes but don't worry I'll be here to look out for everyone just like you would. Andrew my heart is broken but to have you in my life all these years the pain is well worth it. My brother I'll see you again somewhere, sometime and we will sit together open a bottle of Jack (no matter what the doctors say) and once again laugh and talk about the good times. Thank you again for everything. I love you Andrew and I miss you but I will never forget you. YOUR LITTLE BROTHER JIMMY.

I have been trying to find the right words to express my feelings about Andy. Andy was truly a great guy. He was fun loving, and always there if you needed something. I have so many memories of the fun times we all had at parties, weddings, and other occasions. Andy always made everyone smile and laugh. I will miss him and I will cherish all the great times we all had over the years. God must have needed a special angel so he took the best. Rest in peace Andy. Love and Miss you!

I have been lucky to cross paths with many good people, but Andy was one of the best. He had a heart of gold. He could make you feel comfortable and welcome you into his family. I have so many wonderful memories, but I wish we had more time with him. He has always been there for our family. I can’t imagine not having him around. He was the best brother-in-law anyone could ever ask for.
He loved his army artifacts, garage sales, telling stories, and entertaining us all, but most of all he loved his family. He was a kind person, generous, and always had a helping hand.
We will miss you! Forever in our hearts. Sending strength and prayers to Lisa and Tara!
