You rarely come across people who have had a wonderful impact on your life and to refer to as a friend/ buddy. I can say this Mr Emmanuel Capogna, (manny) whom I worked with for a little over 2 years. Manny is among the most interesting, exciting and free-will clients I have worked with. We grew a bond from the inception when I came on board to be a member of his care team alongside my mom and Matta. During this time, our friendship grew tremendously. Manny became comfortable with me and even my husband, ( “ his type of guy”). He used to ask him all the time. Even when I was no longer his caregiver, we kept in touch, our latest conversation was only weeks ago, and we spoke for a while. I enjoyed our conversation, listening to stories, and even a simple thing like sitting on the patio just for conversing. While working with Manny, our daily routine included listening to music every morning and watching his favorite shows , American Got Talent and movies. He watched the same episodes everyday. He used to love his lentil soup, pasta with vodka sauce and his shot of Yukon Jack Whiskey, and he always asked me to take a shot with him, and my response was always the same: no thanks. I will miss him; he was wonderful, and I feel incredibly blessed to have crossed paths with manny and his entire family. May you rest in eternal peace Manny.

Manny - A giant among men. This man served our country in WW2 and never stopped serving his employers, family and friends to the very best of his abilities even until the very end. This man never asked for anything and was happiest when helping friends and family building, fixing and teaching folks how to do it themselves. Even at the end he wanted to redesign his room at Brandywine. He was my good friend for the past 10+ years and made me feel part of the family the first time we met. We talked 3-4 times a week and even more when he played around with his half dozen remote controls. He was the best friend and I will certainly miss him and our weekly lunch and drives around NJ. This loss is sad but he will always be with us in our hearts and memories. Lots of great memories and stories to keep us laughing and loving him.
