Obituary of Vito Ancona

It is with great sadness to announce on Sunday March 24, 2024 Vito Ancona passed away at the age of 75.

He will be fondly remembered by his wife, Patricia of 53 years, his son Vito III (Fanny) daughter Maria (Marc) and six grandchildren, Vito IV, Christopher, Lucas, Cassie, Carrington, and Vianni.

Vito was larger than life. His charismatic personality was enjoyed by so many. He brought light and laughter to every room he was in; he was the life of the party! He enjoyed time with his family, date nights with his wife, watching his favorite sports teams; Rangers, Giants, and Yankees, gardening, smoking cigars, and taking in the sun.

There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will ALWAYS be in our heart.

Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home 2508 Victory Blvd. Staten Island, NY departing Thursday, March 28 at 9:15am. A Holy Week Blessing will take place at St. Rita's Church at 10:00am.  Cremation to follow at Rosehill Crematory, Linden, NJ.
