Obituary of Ana Delia Soto Rivera

Ana D. Soto Rivera Ana Delia Soto Rivera (lovingly known as Nelly, age 84 passed away on April 9,2024 surrounded by her family. Ana was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. She moved to Brooklyn, NY as a teenager with the hopes of a bright future for herself and future family.

Ana was a strong believer in her Catholic faith. She worked as a seamstress until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, music, and dancing at family gatherings.

Ana was a loving mother to her children; Isabel, Nelida, Rafael, and Daisy. Through good times and bad she always put her children first, always making sure that they had what they needed to succeed in life. All she wanted was the best for her children and for them to be happy, healthy, and successful. Ana loved her family deeply and was extremely proud of her 4 children, 11 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was a loving wife to her husband, Miguel, who preceded her in death on June 27, 2013. He was her soul mate. Our family knows that they are happy, once again dancing together.

Ana was kind, loving, and funny woman. Always smiling or joking. She will be missed, but she will forever be in our hearts.
