Obituary of Robert J. Carrara

Robert J. Carrara, 77, passed away on April 15, 2024. He is survived by his beloved sister Phyllis Bilella along with his nephews Charles and Joseph Bilella, niece Deborah Eugene and great-nephews/niece Christopher, Bryan, and Ashley Eugene.

Robert was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived there most of his life until he moved to Staten Island, New York to be closer to his sister and the rest of the family. Robert loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed when the whole family would get together on the holidays. His favorite part was the homemade Italian cooking as he could never say no to a second plate. Robert also loved playing poker and watching wrestling.  He followed wrestling his whole life even up until his final days. He had a great personality and loved to make jokes and make everyone laugh.

The visitation will be at Matthew Funeral home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Teresa's RC Church on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 10:45am with final resting place at Resurrection Cemetery.
