Mike was my brother-in-law and I absolutely adored him! He was one of the most generous person I knew. I valued his advice , no matter how brutally honest it was. He was a great travel companion, most of the time. We took a trip out west together and were driving through the Rockies. I have a fear of heights, Mike took great pleasure in torturing me by yelling out every elevation marker we past. I loved this man so much and am totally devastated by his passing. My most heartfelt condolences to Pat, Thomas, Kathryn and Lauren. Love you all.

I met Mike only once on a fishing trip to Canada. His quick wit, sense of humor and New York accent made for some enjoyable banter during our time together. it was a pleasure and honor to be part of one of his adventures. Respectfully David Eggers

Even before officially marrying into the Studer family, I’d heard stories of the famed Mike Aquino. The family’s adoration of his lust for life, humor, and giving nature were 100% justified. Upon meeting him, I immediately understood, and from then on I looked forward to both more stories of him and opportunities to see him and Pat. The world has dimmed a bit with the loss of Mike. My condolences to the Aquino family. Mike was one the kindest people I have ever known. I had the pleasure and working for him and learning so much from him. I went from being nervous and intimidated to speak to him, to quickly seeing he really cared, and had one of the softest hearts. He was extremely kind, compassionate and ran his business the same way. He truly cared for others, and his goal was to always do what was right. Working for him was an honor and he made all of us part of his family.

I only got to see Mike a couple of times on one occasion when he visited the U.K. l recall an interesting, courteous & outgoing man of quality.
