Obituary of Robert Fusco, Sr.
Robert Fusco, passed away on April 27th, 2024 at the age of 67 due to complications of dementia. He is survived by his beloved wife Jean, his daughter Jaime, sons Robert Jr. and Christopher, precious granddaughter Milania, along with his brother Vincent, sister Joyce LaMoutte, and many nieces and nephews whom he adored. He is predeceased by his parents Adele and Dominick and sister Donna Wiseman.
Robert was an entrepreneur, mechanic and all-around handyman who had a passion for helping others. Whether it was through his entrepreneurial spirit with business venture JRC TOWING; working in the oil industry for over 30 years and retiring from Approved Oil; or serving at church and in the community through the neighborly love he showed to those around him. He lived by the Golden Rule, "Treat others how you want to be treated."
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Robert. He had a love for cars, fishing, history, politics, the Yankees, and food! He was affectionately known as the "Muffin Man" and "Cookie Monster" by the kids due to his love for sweets and chocolate! In his final years, he showed courage in facing life's challenges with a smile and loved talking about happy memories. He was a peacemaker, loved the Lord Jesus, and the Romans 5 teaching of peace with God through faith: "Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God." Romans 5:2
