After seventy-four fruitful years, Victoria Dator Ramirez passed away on the evening of August 22nd after passing away from lung cancer.
Vicky was born on October 24th, 1949 in Victoria, Laguna, Philippines. Her parents were Jose Salvador and Marina Tesoro Dator along with seven beloved siblings: Alexander Dator, Peregrina De Guzman, Teodoro Dator, Eudicael Dator, Annabelle Castillo, Marinela Crudo, and Bernardo Dator.
During high school, Vicky attended Maryknoll Academy and graduated from the University of the Philippines, Los Banos with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics. She was blessed with loving best friends from middle school all the way to college.
Vicky married Pio on January 15th, 1978, and during their 46 years of marriage they had two children: Melissa and John Ramirez with daughter-in-law Mae Vjaje Ramirez. She spent her beautiful life loving, caring, and most importantly cooking for others. From asado to palabok, sinigang to adobo, Vicky loved making others happy with her food, especially her three grandchildren: Adrianna, Andre, and Jack Ramirez. She enjoyed chats with her cousins back home, bible studies with friends, and walks with her husband.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, Aug. 28th and Thursday, Aug. 29th from 4-8pm at Matthew Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Aug. 30th at 11 AM at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church.
