Joanne was a close friend of mine and my grade partner at BSS. She was one of the very first people I met and when we became grade partners later in my career we spent some wonderful times together. Whether it be having a girl’s night at RMT, relaxing at her home or going down her shore house, we had so many laughs. Kevin and little Kev, you are both in my prayers. Mrs. Laub was one of the many teachers my sister and I had at BSS. She was also one of the most memorable and one of the best science teachers I ever had. Whenever my sister and I would come back to visit, she was always so happy to see us and we spent many a time in her room catching up. May she rest in peace and the family be comforted by her memory.

Joanne was my first teaching partner. I have fond and grateful memories of how much she helped me when I started teaching in the middle of the school year. Not only was she a great teaching partner she became a fun friend too. It was my good fortune to know her.
