Born on July 12, 1942, in Jersey City, Bob relocated his family to Staten Island in 1975, where he established his roots in Westerleigh.

Bob graduated from Snyder High School in Jersey City and furthered his education at the Mechanics Institute in New York City. He dedicated 40 years of his career to Con Edison, where he retired as an Operating Supervisor in 2004. Bob was well-liked and respected by his colleagues and friends.

A devoted family man, Bob's greatest joy was spending time with his loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Murphy Moloughney; brother, Tom Moloughney (Eileen); daughters Kathleen Moloughney Hatfield (Mark) and Kerry Lynn Pickett (Gregg); grandchildren Killian, Finn, Brady and Teagan; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Frankie and Joe Grace and their family.

Bob was an active member of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians, the Irish Cultural Society and the Nugent Society where he enjoyed participating in community and cultural events that celebrated his heritage.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at Holy Family R.C. Church on Staten Island at 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 27. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
