Obituary of Salvatore Della Croce

Salvatore Della Croce, 88, of Staten Island, NY, passed away on December 13^th.

Sal was born in Brooklyn, NY to Louis and Sadie.  He attended St. Rita’s School and Franklin K. Lane High School prior to enlisting in the Air Force.  After serving his country, Sal joined Local Union #1 and worked for thirty-eight years as a plumber.

Sal was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Louis, and Anthony, and sister Serafine.  He is survived by his wife of 63 years Marie, sons Salvatore and Vincent, grandchildren John, Nicholas, Grace and Kelly, and great grandchildren Giovanni and Sofia.

Funeral departing the Matthew Funeral Home 2508 Victory Blvd. Staten Island, NY on Wednesday 12/18 at 10AM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pity Church at 10;30 AM with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  Family and Friends may visit the Matthew Funeral Home on Tuesday 12/17 from 3-8PM.
