Obituary of Vittorio Infanti

Vittorio Infanti, 94, passed away on January 1st, 2025. He was predeceased by his parents Giuseppe Infanti and Caterina Infanti, his siblings and his son Paulino Infanti. He is survived by his daughters Margarita, Mariella, Nancy and Vittoria and his grandchildren Rodrigo, Francisco, Solange, Kayla, Pabla, Catterina, Alexandra, Gabriella and Daniella and great grandchildren Kaleem and Kala.

Vittorio lived a full life and had a passion for building things such as bicycles, chairs, tables or machines that could create whatever he envisioned. He was President and Owner of Infanti Chair Manufacturing in Staten Island serving the hospitality industry world wide for over 50 years. He loved being around people and was an amazing storyteller recounting his harrowing childhood in Italy during World War 2 and fighting in the Resistance against Mussolini when he reached his early teens.

He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication and perseverance and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren whenever he got the chance.

The memorial service will be at Matthew Funeral Home on Saturday, February 1st from 3:00-6:00 pm.
