I have so many fond memories with my grandfather, William Maldonado. I remember the times that he would come to visit us and play games and how he let me and my sisters work for him selling tickets for the moonwalker at the street fairs! And how he was there for me, walking me down the aisle on my wedding day since my father had passed away... I remember his sense of humor and his laugh and how he would always joke with us and what a hardworking man he was; he worked so much with his shop and with the festivals. We all love him and will miss him so much!

To the man who’s smile lit up a room, I thank you. If it wasn’t for you pushing your son to ask my mom out on a date, I wouldn’t be here with my beautiful children. You will be missed and never forgotten. I take peace in knowing you are in the arms of your love (Grandma) in the kingdom of heaven. I am thankful you are at peace and no longer suffering. To my amazing GREAT GRANDFATHER, I miss you so much already and I am just so happy you are resting finally. You are the reason we are all here and I am forever grateful. You were such a hard working man and provided for everyone. You were always such a go getter and you taught me what a real man is suppose to be and that is YOU. My father-in-law William Maldonado Sr. Was a great man and very loving, and he will truly be missed! We loved talking about Latin music and his love for Spanish recipes which I learned a lot from him and I was also able to write some of them down. I will always treasure the special moments with him! I am so happy to have been his daughter-in-law ! May he RIP y que Dios te bendiga siempre Bendición con mucho cariño your daughter-in-law Christina Maldonado xo

My grandpa, my hero Although my heart hurts so much I know you will always be with me, because I am part of you. My strong character, my no nonsense attitude, my outspokenness, All YOU! Thank you for being my grandpa and my Dad. You never failed me, even when I disappointed you, you were always there for me. I am sooo proud to say I AM YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER, You fought long and hard, as you always said you would. I love you mucho mucho. I will see you again one day. Your Chandelia xo
