My memories of my neighbor since May, 1987 was of a person who always would wake me up with a joke and laugh when I would see him most mornings. I would begin my day on a positive note, and any challenge or difficulty I had that day, I would recall his jokes and his laughter and my day would go by more smoothly. In the spring I would remember him planting his various flowers and planting his vegetable garden which would give us both joy because I didn’t have a “green thumb” that Peter had. The biggest joy, just like mine was being with our grandchildren four boys in total. He had two and I had two! He was a wonderful family man always running for every member when necessity called. I will tremendously miss our short but happy mornings talking either about Greek or American politics to giving advice to each other. My brotherly neighbor, I hope one day to see you again and our memories from parties in our backyards rain or shine or having appetizers together with some Greek ouzo or wine will always be eternal in my heart. To Mary, Nicholas and the family. I worked in Sanitation for 35 years. I say in all honesty that my years working with Peter were my best. We worked thru 9/11 together when we did not know if Nicholas survived, I celebrated with Peter and the guys when we found out he was OK. I loved Peter, I pray for his soul today and every day, till we meet again. My deepest condolences to all. Peter Kelly
