Mr Staton was like a dad, to us kids growing up, the first time I ever met him was when I went into the boy scouts. Omg I was so nervous but Mr Stanton welcomed me with open arms that first night.
He is the reason that I stayed in the scouts so long. He treated everyone like his own children. I'll never forget how welcomed I felt.
He always took us many awesome camping trips. The first time I was ever by myself camping I was nervous because I was never that independent before, being away from you're family etc. Mr Stanton took us all to jellystone park. Oh how he loved that place. The next day was a trip to great adventure, then camping until Sunday. I felt so included and Mr Stanton made sure everyone was having a great time. I'll never forget it. Just think that it was about 35 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday!
As life went on we were like family,. I got to know the family really well and Mr Stanton was such an awesome human being. I learned so,much from him and still use ,what he taught me, even today. There will be no one ever like him.
I am definitely going to,miss him a lot and that epic van that he drove. Mr Stanton was like a dad to,me and I can never forget this. My prayers and condolences go to the Stantons today. May Mr Stanton be blessed, in heaven in God's arms and may we all, meet together someday again.
