I first knew Tony as my English teacher, his first year at XHS and thought what a nice guy, I hope he survives our class. Of course he did as he went on to help thousands of Xaverian kids. I first met Santi when I returned to work at the school in 1990. I then thought what a nice woman a perfect match for Tony. Luci please tell your dad I would have been there but am away and not getting back until Thursday night. My prayers are for him as your mom no longer needs them as I know she is already in heaven looking down on Tony and the rest of her family with a smile.

On behalf of my wife and myself, we extend our deepest condolences for your loss. I can remember so many times meeting your lovely wife at XHS events and once when I was one of the guys that came to lend a hand painting your house.
She was an adorable person, and you were lucky to have her with you in body and now in soul forever.

Thank you all for the lovely comments about my mom.
I will print them off for my dad and siblings to read.
I am sure they will bring him comfort in the quiet moments of the day when the loss of "his other half" is present and thoughts drift to her.
She was truly a part of the Xaverian Community, especially the Brothers that they held so dearly in their hearts..surely they were more like family to us than some of our blood relatives. I knew once we came upon Brother Warren's birthday, October 11th that she would not last long. (She went into the hospital that day.)
Somewhere along the way true friends become family. I guess that is what happens in the course of their 57 year of marriage ..to her and Xaverian High School. Truly we were blessed.
In much appreciation,
Luci (Coscia) Hartmann

I remember as a student at Xaverian in 1971-71 going to tony Coscia's house. Santi was always kind friendly and very warm. She and tony even sat with me and my friends at our senior prom table. When I came back as a faculty member and then as Assistant Principal she was always encouraging and supportive. I was at Their 25th wedding anniversary which was held at Xaverian. May she rest in peace, Phil Crivelli

Mr. Coscia
My condolences to you and the family on the loss of your wife - you have always had a smile on your face - even if one of us "3-S's" from the class of '65 - Sena -Seums-Solensky - would miss a stop sign or park by braille or not use the directional - and she was a steady guide for your composure which benefitted all of us students...
Ironic how it took so many years for all of us young men to really understand and appreciate the guidance you and all the staff gave us back in those days and even to what you all give to the current XHS classes.
Stay well - and again for us 3 - our prayers for your wife... Richard Sena
