Obituary of Norman W. Bachtler, Jr.

Norman Bachtler, Jr., 53, a lifelong Staten Islander, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 18, 2018.

Norman was an avid Chef, loved riding his motorcycle and loved being a "father" to his furry son Woody. He was loved by all and will forever be in our hearts.

He is survived by his parents Geri and Norman, Sr.; sister Sherrie; brother-in-law John DeFrancisco; niece Amanda DeLalla; and girlfriend Alicia Alcosser.

Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, departing at 9:15 am. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Rita's R.C. Church at 10 am. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Arrangements include private cremation.
