Obituary of John A. Heine

John A. Heine, age 64, passed away suddenly at home on October 24, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Chongdee Heine for 30 years; loving father of Peter Heine and his wife, Sharmaine; dear brother of Debbie Arnold; fond uncle of Patty Noonium, Bobby, Jintana Noonium-Toth and her husband, Dan, Evelyn Toth, Kelly, Megan and Charlie. Mr. Heine was born in Brooklyn in 1954 and raised there. John later relocated to Staten Island. He was employed by the New York City MTA as a Station Agent. Some of his hobbies included collecting Godzilla and Batman toys, and enjoyed a vintage train collection. John also enjoyed the Beatles and collecting music and movie dvd's. His final wish was to move to Thailand after his retirement. Memorial visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Wednesday, 10/31, from 5:00 to 10:00 pm. Arrangements include private cremation.
