Obituary of Anthony J. Bulla

Anthony J. Bulla, a/k/a Tony was greeted into the heavens on October 27, 2018 by his wife Nora. Tony's legacy on earth is held by his daughter, Dr. Dorothy Ortiz-Tulla, and granddaughters Dana Ortiz-Tulla and Rayna Bulla. He is also survived by his brother retired Marine Sergeant Major John Bulla. Please know he also cherished his many friends whom he considered just as important and much like family. Tony proudly served his country during WWII as a Merchant Marine in combat zones. He worked for Allied Chemical as a purchasing agent before retiring from his inspector position with the NYC Board of Education. His last occupation was being a Husband, Dad, Grandfather and avid fisherman. He spent many wonderful years on his boat, the Nora B in Great Kills. Our family would like to thank you all for celebrating his life and memory with us. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 11/2 at 10:00 AM at the Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Blvd and Willowbrook Road. Friends may visit Thursday 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM. Interment to follow at Moravian Cemetery.
