Obituary of Anne M. Frank
Anne M. Frank, age 100, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2019. She was the devoted wife of the late Henry for 54 years. She was the loving mother of William A. Frank and his wife Claudine and Claire Sandomierski and her husband James. She was the cherished grandmother of Lauren Reilly and Susan Clime. She was the dear great grandmother of Jillian, Isabella, Casey and Dylan.
Anne was born in Brooklyn and soon after moved to Staten Island. She graduated from Curtis High School and went on to work as legal secretary and then retired from the NYC Housing Authority. At a time when a woman in the workplace was uncommon, Anne proved to be an invaluable employee and hard worker who instilled a strong work ethic in her children. Anne enjoyed knitting, reading and travelling with her husband. She will be remembered as a loving and caring person who will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. On Thursday, 1/31/19, departing 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Teresa’s R.C. Church at 10:45 AM. Interment will follow in Moravian Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, 1/30/19, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
