Obituary of Prudencio "Lee" Santana

Prudencio "Lee" Santana, age 60, passed away on January 27, 2019, at Clove Lakes Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of Chandra for 28 years; loving father of Travis Toonda, Lebonet Alfaro (Efrain), and Sandra Santana; cherished grandfather of three; dear son of Sandra Fontanez and the late Prudencio Santana; devoted brother of Philip Santana, Henry Santana, Albert Santana, and Dennis Santana. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Santana was born in Hoboken in 1958 and raised there. Throughout the years he also lived in Puerto Rico and New York. Prudencio was employed as a Boiler Engineer for New York Presbyterian Hospital for many years. He was a big sports fan who enjoyed rooting for the Mets, Jets, and Knicks. He also loved fishing. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Funeral Service at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, Staten Island, NY, 10314, on Thursday at 10 am. Committal will follow in Rosehill Crematory, Linden, NJ.
