Obituary of Paul Ciliento
Mr. Paul Ciliento, age 86, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Connie (nee Mannino) for 53 years; loving stepfather of Robert Perine (Joy) and Melissa Fanelli; devoted father of Paul Jr. , Mark, Margaret, Michael, and the late Lucy Ciliento; dear grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 2; dear brother of Camille, Elaine, and Josephine.
Paul was born in 1932 in Lodi, NJ. He was also raised there, and graduated from Lodi High School. While in High School he was a state wrestling champion. Mr. Ciliento served proudly in the United States Navy for four years. While in the Navy he was a Division Champion Boxer. Paul was a club fighter in Lodi, NJ, with 48 undefeated fights. Mr. Ciliento was self-employed for most of his life as a home builder and was a member of Union Local 20. Some of his hobbies included gambling (especially playing craps), RV travelling, spending time at his country house in Liberty, NY. Paul also travelled the world with his wife and friends. He also had an affinity for all things Disney, especially Mickey Mouse.
Funeral Service at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, at 10 am. Interment will follow in Moravian Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
