Obituary of Elvira Lamberti

Elvira Lamberti, age 95, passed away peacefully at home, on February 9, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred (1981); loving mother of Ann Marie Nahas and her husband, Alfred; cherished grandmother of Alison Nahas; fond sister of Agnes Milone, Anthony Lambiase, and Ciro Lambiase. She was predeceased by six siblings. Mrs. Lamberti was born in Salerno, Italy, in 1923, and emigrated to the United States in 1951. For eight years she worked for the former Farm Colony as a Kitchen Manager. She also worked as a Seamstress and a Lunch Aide for the NYC Public Schools. Elvira enjoyed watching soap operas, cooking, socializing with her friends, and spending time with her family. Funeral Service at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Tuesday, 2/19, at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, 2/19, from 10:00 to 11:30 am.
