Obituary of Ann M. Atlak
Ann M. Atlak (nee Denker), age 84, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2019, at DellRidge Rehabilitation and Care Center, Paramus, NJ, surrounded by her loving daughters. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent K. "Babe" Atlak (2004); loving mother of Donna Walsh and her husband, Frank, and Doreen Atlak; cherished grandmother of Alison Trynosky and her husband, James, Kathleen Walsh and her partner, David Maskello, Maryellen Walsh and her fiancé, Jonathan Collins, and Lauren Walsh; devoted great-grandmother of Jacqueline, Catherine, Madeline, and Francis Trynosky; dear sister of Hannah Paradise, and Elizabeth Decker. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Atlak was born on Staten Island and raised in Chelsea. Ann was a graduate of Port Richmond High School. For twenty years she worked as an Administrative Assistant with the NYC Transit Authority, Castleton Avenue Depot. In her spare time she enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, gardening, and watching her favorite television programs.
Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., on Wednesday, departing at 9:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church at 10 am. Interment to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
