Obituary of Shawn T. O'Neill

Shawn T. O'Neill, 48 passed away on February 27, 2019. Shawn was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. Shawn was a construction worker for many years, and then went on to become an owner of an Italian restaurant in Pennsylvania. Cooking was one of his true passions. He also enjoyed working out at the gym and walking on the boardwalk. Shawn was a true yankee fan and enjoyed going to Yankee stadium with family and friends. He also loved football and watching football games on Sunday. One of his favorite things to do daily was playing lotto he thought he could predict what numbers were going to come out. He loved spending time at the Alba house he always said how peaceful it was there. He always loved spending time with his family and his children meant the world to him. He will be deeply missed. Shawn is survived by his daughter Peyton, sons Benjamin, and Christopher O'Neill. Late father William O'Neill. Mother Doris O'Neill. Brothers William, Timothy, and Anthony O'Neill. Sister Kelly Knell O'Neill and brother in law Glen Knell. Nine nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, 3/5/19, at 7:00 PM. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, 3/5/19, from 3:00 to 9:00 PM. A private cremation will follow.
