Dear Jeanine & Family: I am so very saddened to learn of the loss of your mother. One of the sad things about being our age is how much loss we encounter. I am not sure if you would remember me from our days in intermediate school at I.S. 72 in New Springville, especially since our graduating class was split in two different high schools when we graduated. Please extend my condolences to your Aunt Camille, who had the pleasure of working with at the NYC Board of Elections in Staten Island. Small world. I had no idea she was your aunt. What a nice person to work with. So kind and helpful. My hope is that memories of happier days with your Mom help comfort all of you at this sad time for your family.

Carl, Jeanine, Carol and family, There are no words that one can use to properly express how sorry we are to learn of Madeline’s passing. Deepest condolences from the Sullivan family - we understand the pain you are all suffering from right now. Madeline will be severely missed. I will always remember the innumerable conversations and laughs we shared on Niles Place throughout my childhood - whenever I think of growing up on that block, it is filled with memories of the Ognibene’s with the constant back and forth from one house to the other.
