Obituary of Michael B. Paul

Michael B. Paul, age 64, passed away on October 20, 2017, at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. He was the longtime beloved companion of Lorraine Counts; loving father of Jennifer Paul, Michelle Paul, and Christopher Paul; dear brother of Linda Errico; devoted uncle of Jessica and Frank Errico. Michael was born September 11, 1953 on Staten Island. He was raised in Elm Park and is an alumnus of St. Peter’s Boys High School and attended Wagner College. He was employed by the New York City Board of Education for forty three years. His last position with them for the last twelve years of employment was at Staten Island Tech High School as a Custodial Engineer, retiring two years ago. He played numerous musical instruments, especially the guitar and piano, and was an avid Beatles fan. Michael enjoyed cooking, fishing and trips to Atlantic City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society for the benefit of the Hope Lodge, 132 West 32 Street, NY, NY, 10001.
