Obituary of Frank Quagliotti, Jr.
Frank Quagliotti, Jr., of Willowbrook, 87, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Angela (1982); loving father of Nancy Carstens (Richard), Frank Quagliotti (Cathy), and Mark Quagliotti (Laureen); cherished grandfather of Russell and Chelsea Carstens, Frank, Zachary, Christina and Angela Quagliotti. He was predeceased by his four sisters, and also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Frank is a native Staten Islander, who was born and raised in West Brighton, and was graduated from McKee High School. After graduation, he proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps,as a Lithographer, for two years, being stationed in Washington D.C. Upon his return from the service he worked as a printer and later he worked as a Trade Specialist for Cowen & Company on Wall Street. Mr. Quagliotti was active in the Granito Smith American Legion Post, enjoyed taking day trips in the car, going to the movies, bowling, rooting for the Yankees, and spending time with his family. Frank also enjoyed being active in service to the parish communities in which he attended.
Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., on Friday, departing at 11 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church at 11:30 am. Private cremation to follow. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Frank's cremated remains will be buried with his late wife in St. Peter's Cemetery at a date TBA.
