In all of my years I have never met a more inviting,caring & personable family. From the very first time I met them all I truly felt like a member of the family. It’s difficult to even put into words the rare qualities Lisa & Nicole’s parents share to make everyone feel like one of theyre kids or like your all in on the joke. The universe has truly lost one of the great ones in Dickie Bee some stars burn so bright they just have to burn out rather than fade away. I’ve only met Mr. Buonato a few times & it was always an enlightening experience, he was such a charming, witty man & never shy about sharing pearls of wisdom with myself & his daughters. I miss him from just those exchanges so I can hardly imagine the loss they’re suffering. But I’ll be there for you all Lisa,Lila, Nicole & Mrs. B whatever you need please don’t hesitate to ask. I’ve never known a family as supportive or friends as thoughtful. Your dad may not be with us right now but I’m going to try my hardest to follow his example by trying to get you ladies to smile again soon. Hugs

It is with great sadness that I mourn the loss of my long time friend Dick. I can remember wonderful times together at Johns Pizza and the in depth conversations about the Rangers, Yankees, the stock market and local politics.He was very intelligent and had a great sense of humor and I will miss telling him jokes and making him laugh. My deepest sympathys to his family and friends- he is one who will be missed.

To the Buonato family: Lu, Lisa, Nicole, I am so truly sorry for your loss. I feel for you. Dick was one of the best men i have ever known, from my early teens as the dad of my very best friend Nicole he always treated me like i was his own. I look back and laugh at the family road trips to Atlantic City and wildwood in the Cadillac listening to Donna summer " On the radio" on repeat on the cassette player. Or the vacations to Ft. Lauderdale that i was always invited and i will never forget. i am very lucky to have known him. Danielle Taylor Mora
