Obituary of Michael J. Lizak

Michael J. Lizak, 63, of Eltingville, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2019. He was the beloved father of Nicole Lockrem and Megan Comer-Pearo (Joey); cherished grandfather of Peyton, Wyatt, Kaidence, and Joseph; loving brother of Linda Egitto (Joseph), Michele Torino, and Nicholas Lizak. He was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lizak was born in New York City and came to Staten Island at age 16. He attended St. Patrick's Catholic School in Manhattan. He worked his entire career as a Truck Driver. Michael enjoyed golfing, rooting for the NY Jets, and loved travelling. He was also the "Life of the Party," who had a contagious smile and great sense of humor.

Memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Clare's R.C. Church, on Wednesday, July 17, at 11:00 am. Arrangements which include private cremation were entrusted to Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard.
