Obituary of Marianne Savino

Marianne Savino (Nee Mayo), age 56, of Yonkers, New York, passed away on July 14, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Peter Savino ; loving mother of Jacklyn Marie Savino; dear sister of Kathleen Mayo, Veronica Petruzzello, Leslie Mayo, the late Carol Ann Savoca and the late Timothy Mayo. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Marianne was born in Brooklyn, New York, and worked for many years as a Secretary for Everything Yogurt. Her main passions in life were her family, cooking and shopping. On behalf of Pete and Jackie, they are requesting that in lieu of flowers, any monetary contribution you can provide would be much appreciated to assist them, as there was no insurance policy. Their family is rallying together, in true Mayo fashion, to give Marianne the respect she deserves for fighting her disease for so long. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Wednesday, 7/17, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Religious service is scheduled at 8:00 pm. Arrangements include a private cremation.
