Mom , May you Rest In Peace with no more pain. The grandchildren will miss you terribly as well as all the games you played with them , the snacks we didn’t allow that you gave them, and all the crafts and lovin’ you gave them. Your coworkers from IS49 truly saw you as an inspiration, and your friends from Art Class told us in the days of you passing how they never met a kinder person. Certain friends ( who we all considered family friends ) are beyond saddened. Ultimately Mom, you can live the life you haven’t been able too for a long time and with now pain and for that I am grateful ....love you !! Bye bye for now xoxo

This wonderful woman was my treasured friend for over 60 years. My memories are many and I see them in animated technicolor in my heart – from silly shenanigans in high school and college to solemn life-changing events. She was steadfast; I could call to talk after a hiatus of months and it was like we spoke yesterday. She was always kind, thoughtful and generous. She was an accomplished artist; I see her sunflower watercolors daily in my home and my grandson snuggles in a giant crocheted fish blanket. Her courage, strength, and perseverance live on in her loving family.
