Obituary of John Muzzy

John Muzzy Jr., age 72, of New Smyrna Beach, FL., passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020. John is survived by his loving wife along with his sisters, Marian Semon and Dorothy Cole of Staten Island. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Isabel Ramirez (Sam) and brothers-in-law Jesus Diaz (Carmella) and Francisco Diaz (Carmen). John was the dear uncle to 2 nephews, 2 nieces, 9 great nieces and nephews and 1 great great niece. He was also the Godfather of Patricia Semon Buttermark. John was predeceased by his beloved parents and his sister Carol Warchola. John was a native Staten Islander, born and raised. He was the devoted son of John and Evelyn Muzzy. He graduated from St. Peter's Boys High School, Class of 1965 and from St. Peter's College in New Jersey. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force from 1967- 1971 and remained in the reserves until 1973. He was married in 1973 to Ann Diaz Muzzy. For many years John has resided in New Smyrna Beach, FL. He retired from The Bank of America as a mortgage loan officer. No formal service will be held.
