Obituary of Veronica Fiorini

Veronica Fiorini, 68, of Staten Island, N.Y. passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 a few days short of her 69th birthday on September 11, 2020. "Ron" as she was known by family and friends was a graduate of Port Richmond High School. She worked many years as a secretary for the NY Housing Authority in Manhattan and Staten Island. Her interests included traveling to many countries, playing the slots at Atlantic City, going to Monmouth Raceway, crocheting, making flower arrangements and cooking. Ron was a super sister, a generous loving aunt, a warm and wonderful relative, a loyal friend and a mighty fighter to the end. She was predeceased by her parents Eugene and Nancy Fiorini. Ron is survived by her sisters, Joann Fiorini, Jean Falchook, brother in law Joel Falchook, niece Jennifer Newby and her husband Jonathan, nephew Jordan Falchook, great-nephew Peter Newby and great-niece Elizabeth Newby, many cousins and friends. Visitation for Veronica will be at Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10314 on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.
