To my beloved mother. I cannot believe that I am on your obituary page. Mom, it is still so unreal that you are no longer with us on this earth. It is now a little over six weeks that you have left us here so heartbroken. I know that you would not want us to be stuck and not move forward, but that is easier said than done, especially when you lose such an important person in the family. Mami, we move forward but with such a heavy heart. Our family and lives will never be the same. These upcoming holidays are going to be extremely difficult. I don’t even want to think about them. I don’t even want to plan them. Dad is so lost without you. We keep him busy but you can see that pain. Mami, I hope God has forgiven your trespasses and welcomed you to his Kingdom. I hope your soul is at peace. I thank God for blessing me with a wonderful mother like you. Tu eres unica. I love you for all eternity. Sleep in eternal peace. Eternally your daughter, Sylvia
