Our hearts were broken when we heard of Johns passing. Marianne & John were next door neighbors to my Son John & Nancy when they were first married. Then Marianne remembered me from school. John & Nancy came to love their whole family including their two children. When we lost John on 9/11 they were devastated just like family. We can never forget how much you helped Nancy & the kids after that. I know that my John will be watching over all of you from heaven. Our hearts & prayers are for you & your family. Big John, Aside from growing up down the street from you and becoming close friends with "little" John, many memories with you have involved fishing. We have spent a lot of time on the water fishing, from years ago when we both had Trophy's. Tying up side by side at the mud bouy, tuna/bluefish trips on the Brooklyn many times together at the marina getting boats ready in the spring and hanging out on the docks. You were a true gentleman, a family man and a really nice person all around. You will be missed by many but remembered forever.
