I had the pleasure of both knowing and working with Bob over the years in the NYC Parks Department, in both Staten Island and Manhattan. Not only was he an employee of mine, but was a friend as well. After he left Parks we stayed in touch occasionally and we would mostly discuss family. He loved and was so proud of his family and you could see him glow when he spoke and shared pictures of them. I will remember the good times we shared at work and I will pray for strength and comfort for his family. May he hold a special place in Heaven. R.I.P.

Your Husband and Father was a Good Man. You could tell by the way he spoke about you that he Loved you all so much and was Extremely Proud of All of you and his grandchildren. It is apparent you will remember the good times you shared with him, to keep the stories and traditions alive. It is my belief he will be watching over you. Don't let anyone rush you through the grieving process - only you will know when you are ready to move forward. When my Dad died, it was recommended, I read a book entitled, "On Death and Dying" by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, M.D. May it help you gain information to go through the stages of grieving. We shared in common, that I too have a Wife, Daughters, a Granddaughter, with another one on the way. I enjoyed his perspective and advice. He will be Surely Missed by All. Dad, I cannot fathom a world that you do not exist in here with me. You are my everything, my best friend and my very first love. I always called you for everything even the smallest insignificant things and you would give me advice. I wish I could call you now to hear your voice and your words of encouragement when I need it the most. I miss you so much - this pain I feel is unbearable. I am constantly looking at pictures and videos of you so that I could have a piece of you near me forever. I know you will always look over me and the kids; you will always be our side guiding and protecting us as if you were here. I will try to find comfort in knowing this at least until the time comes that we meet again. I am so blessed to have you as my father to teach so many things in life. Thank you for all the belly aching laughs you gave me. One of my favorite things was to hear how he would tell stories about him and my mom growing up and all the trouble they would get each other in. The stories were always entertaining.
